So here is a colourful look using the Sigma Flare Palette. It is a palette with a great range of neutrals and bright colours. Hope you guys like this purple, teal and green look. It is a bold look but it is fun to go out of your comfort zone once and a while and do something fun. Try this out with the Sigma palette or with similar colours you already own. Have fun!

Challenge ~ 1 Brush, 1 Palette... 2 Looks

Challenge!!
So my cousin Stephanie challenged me to do a look using ONE brush and ONE palette that contained 4 colours. Having a whole bunch of makeup brushes, for most people, isn't reality. They have just enough to get by so I thought this was a great challenge that would help a lot of makeup lovers out.
She chose for me to use a MAC 242 brush which is just a small and flat shader brush. It's a pretty typical brush that can be bought through any makeup brush line. It's one that most people will have on hand.
Also, only having 4 colours to work with was something that can work for anyone. You can buy palettes through many drugstore (and even high end) makeup brands that have 4 colours... so you can do this with ANY palette you have no matter the colours. The point of this tutorial wasn't about the colours themselves... it's about placement and how to use those 4 colours in 2 seperate ways.
I hope you guys like this and hope you will challenge yourselves to do this... even if you own a whole mess of brushes like I do ;) It's fun!

Here are the two looks... in person they looked a lot more different but unfortunately didn't photograph as well as I hoped. Probably should have used colours instead of neutral shades but it's all good. The video shows all the steps :)

QUESTION ~ HELP

Hey my beauties!!

So I've been playing with the idea of having a blog sale. I have so many items that I love but just don't get the love they deserve and I would love to give them new homes!

Here is the problem I am faced with... in Canada, shipping is stupid! It is over-priced but there is nothing I can do about it. For example, I had a contest on my facebook business page for my past, present and potential clients, which gave away my favourite MAC lipgloss, (Underage!) and get this... it cost me $6 to send it to the other side of the same city I live in... isn't that insane!! I've had people send me stuff from the US and I see it cost them like $2 to ship over the boarder, jealous!

Anyways... that is the only thing holding me back from having a blog sale!
I don't want you all to feel I am ripping you off or taking advantage of you. Believe me, if I end up doing this and you end up getting something of mine sent to you, you will see the proof of shipping cost!

What I think I will need to do is make shipping $8 and and extra $1 per each additional item.
I know, I know... steep right!! I understand, but like I said, there isn't much I can do about it!

So now that you all know what I am faced with, I would love your feedback... should I do a blog sale or is that shipping just a deal breaker!

Honest opinions are appreciated!

Holiday Giveaway!!

It's Giveaway Time!

So, as you all know, I am absolutely in love with Sigma's Sigmax Brush Collection (I talked all about it in my October favs video). There are 3 brushes in this Kabuki family and they are all amazing. There is the flat top F80 that is wonderful for liquid foundation, the round top F82 that I am in LOVE with for my mineral press powder foundation (I use it EVERYDAY) and the angled top F84 which is fabulous for cream blush or bronzer!

There are many other uses for these Sigma Synthetic Kabuki Brushes but those are just a few of my favs. No matter what you use them for, they blend anything and everything into your skin flawlessly.

So friends, ONE lucky winner will get this collection as a early Christmas gift ;)

Alright... so there aren't many rules to this contest... all you have to do is

1. Be a follower of my blog & youtube channel

Sigma MAXBAG!!!

Gimme Gimme Gimme!
Lol... I don't even know what else to say about this bag! It is truly gorgeous and the best part, HUGE!
Some time ago, Simone, the owner & amazing creator of Sigma, went and posted a picture of these bags on twitter. Instantly there were people saying how excited they were... including me. How can you go wrong with a massive makeup bag?! As much as when I travel, I like to travel light, I tend to feel like I am stuffing my makeup bags to the point of breaking them or I just pack a second makeup bag and I think the issue that brings me to that point is brushes... well guess what gorgeous ladies... this bag WILL fit your full Sigma brush roll! How exciting is that?
I'm not even going to lie, as big as this bag is I want more then one lol. It comes in this stunning Teal colour (must have for me) shown in the picture above as well as a Black (want it too) and then a really beautiful Violet colour.
This bag has that quilted look on the outside and is sleek and black on the inside (great for it to remain looking clean) as well as some little pockets on the inside for small things you don't want to get lost in amoungst the rest of your makeup. Another touch I love is the silver heart on the bottom corner with the Sigma logo on it... so cute!!
Make sure you check out the Sigma site for more information and to see some more pictures!
Hope you guys are as excited about this makeup bag as I am and will pick one or more up.
Remember... Christmas is coming and I think this would be an amazing gift to give to all the makeup loving ladies in your family or your friends!
