So here is a colourful look using the Sigma Flare Palette. It is a palette with a great range of neutrals and bright colours. Hope you guys like this purple, teal and green look. It is a bold look but it is fun to go out of your comfort zone once and a while and do something fun. Try this out with the Sigma palette or with similar colours you already own. Have fun!

Challenge ~ 1 Brush, 1 Palette... 2 Looks
Challenge!!
So my cousin Stephanie challenged me to do a look using ONE brush and ONE palette that contained 4 colours. Having a whole bunch of makeup brushes, for most people, isn't reality. They have just enough to get by so I thought this was a great challenge that would help a lot of makeup lovers out.
She chose for me to use a MAC 242 brush which is just a small and flat shader brush. It's a pretty typical brush that can be bought through any makeup brush line. It's one that most people will have on hand.
Also, only having 4 colours to work with was something that can work for anyone. You can buy palettes through many drugstore (and even high end) makeup brands that have 4 colours... so you can do this with ANY palette you have no matter the colours. The point of this tutorial wasn't about the colours themselves... it's about placement and how to use those 4 colours in 2 seperate ways.
I hope you guys like this and hope you will challenge yourselves to do this... even if you own a whole mess of brushes like I do ;) It's fun!

Here are the two looks... in person they looked a lot more different but unfortunately didn't photograph as well as I hoped. Probably should have used colours instead of neutral shades but it's all good. The video shows all the steps :)

QUESTION ~ HELP
Hey my beauties!!
So I've been playing with the idea of having a blog sale. I have so many items that I love but just don't get the love they deserve and I would love to give them new homes!
Here is the problem I am faced with... in Canada, shipping is stupid! It is over-priced but there is nothing I can do about it. For example, I had a contest on my facebook business page for my past, present and potential clients, which gave away my favourite MAC lipgloss, (Underage!) and get this... it cost me $6 to send it to the other side of the same city I live in... isn't that insane!! I've had people send me stuff from the US and I see it cost them like $2 to ship over the boarder, jealous!
Anyways... that is the only thing holding me back from having a blog sale!
I don't want you all to feel I am ripping you off or taking advantage of you. Believe me, if I end up doing this and you end up getting something of mine sent to you, you will see the proof of shipping cost!
What I think I will need to do is make shipping $8 and and extra $1 per each additional item.
I know, I know... steep right!! I understand, but like I said, there isn't much I can do about it!
So now that you all know what I am faced with, I would love your feedback... should I do a blog sale or is that shipping just a deal breaker!
Honest opinions are appreciated!

So here is a really fun inspired look! I absolutely LOVED how Mila looked on the February 2011 Cover of Cosmopolitan. Her look was smoky, sultry, eye catching and very clean. I am really loving how this look turned out and think it's a pretty good inspiration, if I do say so myself haha! You can really wear this look out to so many occations. I think I'll for sure be sporting it for Valentine's Day as it is quite flirty and fun.
Hope you guys like it and will try it out.
