This is my Jessica Alba Inspired Look!

I just think she is absolutely stunning so when I was requested to do this I was very excited!! You can see the Inspiration Picture HERE !!!!!

It's a very wearable Smokey Brown/Bronze Look. Not too dark but can go from day to night perfectly! You can even use a darker lip colour for night.

I really love this look and am totally going to wear it this weekend but probably with a bit more colour on my cheeks and lips!

MATTE Dupe for Nars Laguna Bronzer

Everyone loves an amazing bronzer and as all of you probably know, Nars Bronzer in Laguna is the best bronzer out there. It is the perfect colour for most skin tones. (if you have a deeper skin tone, go for Nars Bronzer in Casino

Although I adore Laguna, there are times when you want a bronzer with NO shimmer... a pure matte bronzer!

Well guess what, I've found a Dupe for Laguna Bronzer but it's completely matte! It's The Balm Brozner in Bahama Mama (I know, best name)

Although the actual product pictures may not look like they are similar, you can see here from these swatches that they are a very similar colour but Laguna is just shimmery compared to the Matteness of Bahama Mama!

So if you've been looking for an amazing matte bronzer... check out The Balm's Bahama Mama Bronzer. It is that perfect Laguna colour but matte.

Hope this helps, have fun getting all bronzed up for fall and winter.

Lush Storage

Here is how I like to store my Lush Soaps and Bubble Bars!!

I got these jars from Michaels and they were about $5.99 CND. Make sure you get the ones with the rubber stoppers on the lid in order to keep out any moisture, expecially if you are going to be storing them in your bathroom. I really love how cute and colourful they look!!

This is the jar that holds my soaps!! It works great for being able to switch up your soaps more often as well as makes them last longer!! Any left over pieces I store in the yellow lush bags and just keep in my linen closet. *It makes my closet smell great* If you want, you can just get bigger jars or try to only buy enough soap to fit in one jar. It's all up to you. If you are worried about the scents mixing or taking over each other, just saran wrap them individually!

This is the one with my beloved Bubble Bars in it!!! You can definitely save some money by cutting them up and using them anywhere from 2-4 times depending on the size of the bubble bar. I find that using just some of the Bubble Bar creates quite a lot of bubbles anyways so why not use the same bar a few times!!

**Please be very safe when doing this. You will need a cutting board and a large kitchen knife. The soaps stick to the knife and you have to be very careful prying them off. Get parent help if need be**

Lush Christmas Haul

Here is my Christmas Lush Haul. I'm loving this line and the things I got! I can't wait to jump into the tub and try them all out.

Although you'd expect all the products to have Christmasy scents, Lush has really found some scents that will keep you warm and cozy throughout the Christmas and Winter season but can also work for the rest of the year.

First off I got Angel's Delight Soap! It's such a beautiful soap as you can see from the picture. Plus, the scent is amazing! So fruity and sparkly like citrus! I kind of want to taste it but I'm assuming that would be a bad idea hahaha.

I got one more soap from the Christmas collection called Snowcake Soap. I want to melt this one down and spread it on a cupcake!! It smells like a creamy almond icing. I can't wait to use this one, I used it in the store on my hands and it was awesome.

Then I got the Snow Fairy Shower Gel which is a bright pink colour! It smells like candy! To me, like Jelly Beans. I'm loving it and can't wait to try it in my hair too... yes, that's right. You can use this and even Lush's Ghost Shower Gel from the Halloween collection in your hair!!

On to my favourite thing! Bubble Bars :)

This one is called Christmas Eve Bubble Bar. It is so pretty with all the sparkles on it. To me it smells like fresh flowers but with a clean crisp scent! You have to smell it to understand!

Next I got the Gnome Bubble Bar! This little guy is so flipping cute. He has Chocolate Chips for eyes! This dude smells spicy to me, like cinnamon! I think I'm going to love it because cinnamon scents to me are so warming. I'm not using him till we get lots of snow and I need that extra warmth before bed!

Now onto Bath Bombs! This is called Lil' Lush Pud Bath Bomb and I can't help but love it just because it's so adorable. The sugar holly is so cute!! To me it smells very much like gingerbread and baked goods. It makes me hungry just smelling it hehe.

Then I got the Ciders Bath Bomb. This one I didn't think I was going to get but it just sounds so fun with the Pop Rocks in it. How could anyone resist having a champagne like sparkling bath. I can't wait to see them crackling in the tub. It smells fruity, like oranges!

This fun Bubble Bar is not part of the Christmas Collection but I got it because it was part of a 'spend so much money get a free bubble bar' promotion. It's called Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds. I did lean towards it because it was the most expensive Bubble Bar lol but I'm happy I chose it. It is suppose to be very calming and the scent is really nice.

Sorry this was so long but I was really excited about this purchase and to share this with all of you lovelies!!!

Hope you enjoyed. I'd love to hear what you picked up from this collection!!!

You can go to your local Lush store or visit Lush Online to purchase any of these items!

MAC Magic, Mirth and Mischief Collection

So... at first I was excited about this collection but then when I saw it, I was quite disappointed.
For a person just starting to collect MAC, it's a great time to stock up on items but for those of you, like myself, who have tons of MAC already.. this collection was kind of a fail.
Do note that if you are actually purchasing collection items as gifts, they are awesome, especially the sets!

So here are the only two products I got:

MAC Mineralized Blush in Superduper-Natural. I'm loving this colour so far, it is, as it states, very Natural. It's a peachy tone that would look best on lighter to olive skin tones but would look amazing on darker skin tones as a highlight.
There was another blush called Conjure Up but it looked to mush like a deeper version of Gentle Mineralized Blush to me so I didn't get it.

The second thing I got:

Is the Soft Sparkle Eye Pencil in Iris Accents. It's so beautiful and the sparkles are definitely what drew me in. I kind of what to go back for the black one just because it's so fun and a great way to make a plain eyeliner have an extra bit of oomph!

That's it for the MAC 2009 Christmas Collection for me.

What did you all think of the Collection? What did you get?
